Bergarde Galleries was established by Henk en Anja van den Berg in 2011. The gallery stopped its activities in November 2019.

Eefje Zalm (1985) studied Art History at the University of Utrecht and completed a master's degree in Museum Studies at the UvA. She followed internships at the Rijksmuseum and the Amsterdam Museum. In addition, she was active as a board member of Stichting Art (the Art History Association) and she is one of the founders of the journal Article. Eefje was working at Bergarde Galleries from 2012 until the end of 2019.



Teuntje van de Wouw (1988) studied graphic design at AKV | St. Joost in Breda. At Utrecht University she successfully completed a bachelor in art history and the research masters. As part of the international program, she did a research internship at The National Gallery of Ireland (Dublin). Teuntje was working at Bergarde Galleries from early 2017 until the end of 2019.
