(Nederlands) Tessa van Helden I Saw You in Time

(Nederlands) ‘I saw you in time’ is de solotentoonstelling van Tessa van Helden (Dordrecht, 1995), het nieuwe, jonge talent in de Bergarde Stal. Haar handgeborduurde portretten komen voort uit fascinatie voor archiefmateriaal en oude foto’s die ze vindt en verzamelt op rommelmarkten. Vanaf 28 oktober is haar solopresentatie te bekijken in de paardenstal.

Over de tentoonstelling

With her lasercuts, Tessa van Helden questions the appearance and disappearance of images. Can these people become archetypes of a universal sentiment? The images of strangers become part of your own memories.

 At first sight the lasercuts seem to be abstract works. However, the longer you look at them, the more details of the original image will show.
