Andy Warhol

On view is a special portrait of the young Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands created in 1985 and part of Andy Warhol’s series Reigning Queens. The portfolio contains sixteen prints of the four ruling queens at that time in the world:— Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom— Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands— Queen Margrethe II of Denmark— Queen Ntombi Twala of Swaziland

Roy Lichtenstein

Another work on view is Roy Lichtenstein’s Seascape No. 1. Executed in 1964 using Rowlux, a material originaly used for high-way signage. Lichtenstein created a series of seascapes, landscapes and moonscapes out of Rowlux. Also can be viewed the portfolio consisting of six screenprints titled Zero Energy Experiment Pile (Z.E.E.P) and created by Eduardo Paolozzi in 1970.
