Over Ad Timmermans

Artist Ad Timmermans was trained at the Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in Rotterdam. He works both spatial and on the flat surface. His work is exhibited in both The Netherlands and abroad from the seventies onwards. In addition, Timmermans’ work is to be found in the collections over several museums: Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Museum Princessehof Leeuwarden, Museum of Modern Art Pennsyvania (USA) and Museum van Trontheim (Noorwegen).

Besides his work as an artist, Timmermans was as a part-time teacher in the visual arts until 1998. Nowadays, he still works in his studio in Rotterdam.
