NederlandsHendrik P.C. (Henk) van Bennekum (Giessendam, July 14, 1946) is a Dutch sculptor, mural painter and ceramist. He was born in Giessendam in 1946 and studied sculpture and environmental art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tilburg. Van Bennekum worked as a design teacher in Schoonhoven. As an artist he makes geometric-abstract and constructivist works for the public space of Gorinchem in many cities in the Netherlands
