NederlandsAfter working as a visual merchandiser for many years I switched to a different workfield in 2010. I studied Teacher Training in Visual Arts and Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy and graduated in 2015. After graduation, I started my own business and I create, inspired by Cradle to Cradle thought, experimental work of biodegradable materials.
Signature
In my work is a penchant for abstraction visible, combined with the beauty of the natural material. The tension area of abstraction on one side and the organic forms of the material on the other hand, I find interesting. It reflects to me the way we live: culture on the one hand, nature on the other. I strive for harmony between these two, or make tension and friction visable. Each material has its own intrinsic visual qualities.
