Location

Playground can be seen on Het Buitenland estate in Heerjansdam. The starting point of the walk is Bergarde Galleries, here you can also park your car.

Route

The route and background information can be found in the special Playground Magazine. This is for € 7.95 for sale in the gallery (during opening hours) and in the webshop. With this you also support the project.

Openinghours

Landgoed Het Buitenland is freely accessible daily between sunrise and sunset.

The gallery and the works of Rince de Jong (no. 2, film) and Joyce Overheul (no. 23, audio) can only be viewed from Thursday to Friday (11 am – 5 pm).

Entrance & magazine

The estate is free of charge, but we use a recommended admission price of € 7.95. For this you will receive a beautiful magazine with the route and background information. You also support this art & nature project. The Playground Magazine is for sale during opening hours at Bergarde Galleries (Het Buitenland 1). Or to order through our webshop. The gallery can be visited free of charge during opening hours.

Guided tours

Every third Saturday of the month you can join a walk-in tour (except July: the tour is the fourth Saturday, on 27 July). The curator will take you through a number of works for an hour and a half. You hear more about the background and meaning. The tours are suitable for all ages. We offer tailor-made guided tours for larger groups. Please inquire via info@bergarde.com for the possibilities.

Accessibility

The artworks of Playground are surrounded by nature, which is why the entire route is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Inform yourself about the options and the ideal route prior to your visit.

Entering country estate Het Buitenland and Playground is at your own risk.
