What if? #4 / Angelique van der Valk

In her work, Barendrecht artist Angelique van der Valk makes current food issues around our food visible. In these two pictures from the series What if? questions Van der Valk the consequences of crop protection or breeding, focus on content substances and patent on nutrition. Broad beans, both fresh and dried, have been used as a carrier.

We buy industrially produced food and supplements consisting of a number of ingredients, vitamins and flavors. As a result, we no longer see how vegetables look, feel or taste in the whole as a whole. What if a composite product does not give us the same power and energy as a fresh product?
